D.I.Y: Bolt Bracelet

We all have the messy and unpredictable junk drawer but with our help you can uncover some unlikely treasures! With a little Sassy City Chick wit, you can create a stylish and one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that all your gal pals will envy -- and ask where you purchased it. Our incredibly easy and edgy D.I.Y. this week features two items we would tend to overlook: ropes and bolts...who knew that hardware could be so chic!

Materials needed: white twine (15 inches long), 18 gold colored bolts, and scissors.

1.) Gather up all your materials and cut your white twine to your desired length.
2.) Knot all 3 pieces of twine (leave 3 inches at the end).
3.) Braid the twine 2 inches in length.
4.) Slip one bolt before each braid and continue until all 18 pieces are braided. Braid 2 remaining inches of the remaining twine and knot the end.

A New Look for San Francisco!

Shoppers in the Bay area were treated to a revamped look for our Fashion Bash -- a new location at the Regency Center and our debut of our fabulous pink Sassy Tote Bags! Taking a stroll inside the venue, our Sassy SF Chicks had a bevy options for a great girl's night out from all the shopping deals, getting dolled up with complimentary hair and make up treatments for our spas, and hypnotizing cocktails and cupcakes to top the night off. We can't wait to be back in September!

D.I.Y: Bow Tank Top

We all have those tops in our wardrobes that never seem to get worn and we never know why. Now you can sass up any dull frock in a quick and easy way...our friends at Pinterest showed us how! Sometimes it just takes a little Sassy City Chick wit to transform a basic shirt into a fun and fashionable blouse.

Materials needed: ribbon (any color), 8 eyelets, loose blouse, scissors, and ruler.

1.) Using a ruler, mark 2 adjacent dots down the middle line of your shirt on the back. Repeat 4 times along the line.
2.) Cut a small hole on each marked dot and also cut down the middle line of the shirt.
3.) Place one eyelet on each hole and fasten.
4.) Connect the adjacent hole with the ribbon and tie a bow on each strand.
